How to Split Outlook OST/PST Files?

Step-1) Download & Launch eSoftTools PST Split Software on your windows based machine.

Step-2) Choose a file selction options from the options "Browse" or "Search OST or PST File".

Step-3) Import PST/OST and NST files in the software by selecting required option.

Browse & Select Outlook files

1) Hit the "Add PST File" button from the menubar or "Browse" from first screen.

2) Next, select the file from its location and press the "Open" button.

1) Click the Search OST or PST File from software's welcome screen.

2) Press "Browse Location" button to Select a folder from your drive & click "Search" button.

Scan selected folder load data files and select needed PST/OST or NST files.

Step-4) Scan Selected Files and Load all folders of Outook profile

Make selection of needed Outlook folders, choose splitting options and follow the steps shown below:-

Split Large PST in Smaller size PST files by following the below mentioned steps:-

Step-5) Select needed folders from PST folders list, select Split By Size and other required options.

Provide Split Size:- Input a Split size to create PST files with defined size (Users can add Minimum Size 1 MB to Maximum= No Limit)
Filter Emails:- Select a "From" and "To Date" to Export data of only selected date to new PST files

After all required selection press the "Next" button.

Step-6) From the next screen, press "Browse" button to select a saving location.

After saving location selection, simply start the PST Splitting process by hitting the "Start Split" button.

Step-7) Software will start the splitting process, and show you complete details of working.

Step-8) After completion of PST splitting process the software will provide a new window with message "PST Splitting Process completed Successfully".

Split Outlook PST/OST or NST files by date:-

Step-5) Select Outlook folders from PST/NST or OST files and select Split By Date options.

Select a Date Range:- Select a "From" and "To Date" to export items of only required dates from PST/OST/NST files

After these selections hit the "Next" button.

Step-6) Next, click the "Browse" button and choose a saving location.

Select saving location, then press the "Start Split" button to begin PST file splitting process by date.

Step-7) Start the OST/PST splitting process, and get a preview of software working process on your screen.

Step-8) In a very short time the software will complete the Splitting process and message "PST Splitting Process completed Successfully" in a new window.

Split Outlook PST/OST or NST files by Year:-

Step-5) Perform Outlook folder selection from PST/NST/OST files and select Split By Year radio button.

Select Year:- Select a "Start Year" and "End Year" from predefined list of years
Custom Year:- Input a custom "Start" and a "End Year" manually.
Filter Emails:- Choose a "From" and "To Date" and easily export emails and other data from PST/OST/NST files of selected dates

After selections, hit the "Next" button.

Step-6) Click the "Browse" button from next opened screen to choose a saving location.

Select a saving location and press the "Start Split" button to start the PST file splitting by year process.

Step-7) Start the OST/PST/NST file splitting by year process, and get a live preview of entire working process of the software.

Step-8) Software will accomplish the Splitting process in a very short time and provide instant result with message "PST Splitting Process completed Successfully".

Split Outlook PST/OST or NST files by Folder:-

Step-5) Select needed folders from PST/NST/OST files and select Split By Folder radio button.

Split PST by Selected Folder:- Create a single PST file with all selected folders
Split Folder-Wise PST file:- Create separate PST files for Each Outlook folder.
Filter Emails:- Select "From" and "To Date" to export data from PST/OST/NST files of only required dates

After this, press the "Next" button.

Step-6) Press the "Browse" button from next screen and choose saving location.

Press the "Start Split" button to begin the process of PST file splitting by Outlook folders.

Step-7) Split the OST/PST/NST file by folder, and get preview of software working process.

Step-8) Complete the Splitting process through the software and after completeion users will get a message "PST Splitting Process completed Successfully" in new window.

Split Outlook PST/OST or NST files By Email Address:-

Step-5) Select needed folders from PST/NST/OST files and select Split By Email Address radio button.

Search Email Address in:- Input email address and Choose "From", "To", "BCC", "CC", attributes
Filter Emails:- Select a "From" and "To Date" for exporting emails and other items from PST/OST/NST files of selected dates

Select all options and hit the "Next" button.

Step-6) Click the "Browse" button and choose a saving location.

After selection of saving location, press the "Start Split" button and begin the process of PST file splitting with data of specified email address.

Step-7) Software will start the OST/PST/NST file splitting with data items of specified email address.

Step-8) Software will complete the Splitting process and save data of specified email address to new PST files. After completion the software show a new window with message "PST Splitting Process completed Successfully".
